Event Storming meeting series

After the first meeting, the delivery team organized a series of Event Storming sessions to better understand the required process.

The delivery team planned three meetings: Big Picture, Process Level, and Software Modeling.

Big Picture​

For the Big Picture session, the delivery team invited stakeholders. The participants included:

  • Business representatives
  • Visionary
  • Tester
  • Developer

The meeting took place in a room with an 8-meter wall, which was covered with a paper roll. Additional preparations included:

  • food
  • a flipchart with a legend
  • plenty of multi-colored sticky notes

Process Level​

The following day, all participants from the previous meeting gathered for the next session.
The goal was to identify constraints, data views needed for decision-making, and business rules.

Software Modeling​

The Software Modeling session was attended only by developers from the delivery team.

The goal of this meeting was to prepare the system architecture.
